LearnStates is a game that helps you to learn the names and locations of the States
and Capitals of the United States. It's a fun and colourful way to learn about the States.
Play against your friends to get the highest scores or just challenge yourself to see
how well you can do!

Colourful!
You can adjust the colours of the map with the 'plus' and 'minus'
keys to make the
colours darker or lighter. The game remembers your favorite settings. You can optionally have the game drop 3D blocks when you click on the right State. The name buttons at the bottom of the screen turn green if you click on the right State or red if you click on the wrong one.

Three Different Ways of Playing
The game times you for accuracy and speed - the most points wins!
Pick State: The game prompts you with a State or Capital name and you try to click on the map where the State is.
Find All States: Same as above but you keep playing until you get all the States right.
Pick Names: The game flashes a State on the map and you have to click the right State or Capital name button.

Help Button
If you get stuck, press F1 to display all the names of the States.
Press F1 again to continue playing. In no time, you'll know all the
States and won't need to use the help map!
High Score List
What makes the game so fun, is trying to beat the highest scores
on the high score list.
You lost points when you get States wrong. You get mega-bonuses for getting them all right! You get lots of points per second when you score under 3 minutes!

This is a wonderful way of learning the United States of America. It's also a great way to
brush up on your States if you think you already know them all!
