Color Harmonies
Finding color harmonies is easy with ColorDabbler. When you change the current color,
other colors with the same saturation and brightness are automatically calculated.
Analogous, Complementary and Triadic color combinations are also calculated with
buttons to control the analogous color spread as well as the brightness and saturation of
triadic colors. You can change the background color of the harmonious color area to
whichever color you like, to see how the harmonious colors look like on different
backgrounds.
Color Adjustment Tools
Color sliders for RGB, HSB and CMYK make easy work of modifying your
colors. The sliders can be set to change dynamically to reflect the other color
sliders, or be set to remain static.
There are also two other methods of modifying your colors - the color cube
mode and the color ranges mode. These methods help you to better control
your color values. You can see all the brightness and saturation of any hue
for easy visual selection of colors.
Fullscreen Mode
Fullscreen mode gives you color values across your entire screen, for
unobstructed viewing. You can set the number of colors anywhere from 1
single color to 256 different colors. Numerical color values are displayed
in RGB, HSB or CMYK format. The keyboard can be used to navigate the
color wheel, as well as adjust brightness and saturation until you find the
color you like. Selecting that color returns you to ColorDabbler and makes
that color the current color
Eyedropper Mode
Eyedropper mode minimizes ColorDabbler and lets you select colors from
anywhere on your windows desktop or from other programs. You can zoom in
and out for easier color selection.
